Analisis Perubahan Garis Pantai Menggunakan Citra Satelit Landsat Di Pulau Angso Duo, Pariaman, Sumatera Barat
Angso Duo Island is area affected by currents and waves because the island is
located in western coast of Sumatera and direcly adjacent to the Indian Ocean, this
causes changes in the coastline in the form of abrasion and accretion on the island.
This study aims to determine the effect of currents and waves on the rate shoreline
changes for 30 years (1993-2023) on Angso Duo Island. This research was
conducted in January 2024 on Angso Duo Island, Pariaman City, West Sumatera
Province. The method used is a survey method to obtain primary data including
curret speed and wave height. Analysis of landsat image by using software Digital
Shoreline Analysis System with End Point Rate (EPR) approach. In 1993-2023,
there was a change in the coastline in the form of abrasion, which reached ± 49 m
with a change rate of ± 0,35 m/yr. The abrasion at research station is classified in
to high, medium, and low categories. Accretion also occurs in the area around the
research station, and some areas do not experience significant changes or remain
in a stable condition. Currents in the Angso Duo Island are included in slowmoderate
category with an average value of 0,19-0,27 m/s. Wave height is
included in the very low-low category with an average value of 0,24-0,58 m.
