Struktur Populasi Kerang Darah (Anadara Granosa) Pada Perairan Pantai Desa Tanah Merah Rangsang Pesisir Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti

This research has been carried out in December 2023. The goal is to determine the population of blood mussels in the coastal waters of Tanah Merah Village, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. The method used is the survey method through primary and secondary data collection. However, secondary data collection is also carried out as a support. Primary data were collected from 3 stations where each station was drawn a transect line from the coast towards the sea. Each station is divided into 3 observation points with 3 plots measuring 1 x 1 m. The results showed an average abundance of blood shells of 5.70 ± 0.783 ind/m² with the lowest abundance located at station II and the highest abundance at station III. The distribution pattern of blood mussels is clustered. The length of the dominant blood clam measures 1.59 – 1.87.
