The Photography Center is a special place used for photography activities. There are many enthusiasts from various circles, including in Pekanbaru. The photography center is considered a meeting place for photographers, professional or amateur, as well as art lovers. By seeing the large number of photography enthusiasts, the growth and development of photography communities, and the large use of photography media in various activities, in this design concept, the exhibition space will become the center of attention showcasing various photographic works from local and international photographers. Studio facilities with existing equipment allow intensive photography practice and learning. Apart from that, the photography study room or seminar will facilitate the learning process, discussion and exchange of ideas between practitioners and photography enthusiasts. The need to build a Photography Center in Pekanbaru is because it also functions as a platform for the photography community to share and collaborate. In designing the Photography Center in Pekanbaru, the concept of the
Hi-Tech Architecture Approach is used, namely a design approach that is not just a visual aesthetic aspect, but is also a form of response to current needs. By combining modern concepts, advanced technology and good functionality, with the aim of creating buildings that reflect technological advances and provide an attractive visual experience through the use of modern materials and structural expression.
