Pengelolaan Konten Instagram Sebagai Media Promosi Pariwisata Riau
The development of technology has presented a new way for the Riau Province Tourism Office to promote tourism, namely by sharing content on social media. The goal of this research is to understand how Instagram content management is carried out by the Riau Province Tourism Office in promoting Riau tourism. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. From the research results, it was found that the management of Instagram content carried out by the Riau Province Tourism Office in promoting Riau tourism follows the 4C theory by Chris Heuer, First, in context, messages are delivered in various formats such as photos, videos, and accompanied by information related to the uploaded content. Second, in communication, the information conveyed is persuasive about destinations and events in Riau Province. Third, in collaboration, the relationship between the Instagram account @pariwisata.riau and its followers runs smoothly, with active and open comment activity. The Riau Province Tourism Office also collaborates with other Instagram accounts to expand the range of audiences and content shared. Fourth, in connection, Instagram managers always try to innovate and follow developments in trends in creating content and regularly upload content to maintain connections with their followers.
