Penerapan Metode Fungsi Transfer Single Input Untuk Peramalan Inflasi Berdasarkan Nilai Ekspor Non Migas Di Indonesia
Forecasting inflation is an important aspect of managing a country's monetary and fiscal policies. This study forecasts inflation based on non-oil and gas export values using the single input transfer function method. The time series data to be analysed are Indonesian inflation data as the output series and non-oil and gas export value data as the input series. Based on the patterns of the obtained time series data, the data are then analysed and the best transfer function model is selected. The results of the inflation forecast using the transfer function method based on non-oil and gas export values yielded a MAPE value of 7,82% which is classified as excellent based on the MAPE criteria. The forecast results for the coming periods show a slight decrease compared to the inflation value of the last period and tend to stabilise around 2%.
