Tata Kelola Drainase Di Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerincikabupaten Pelalawan

This research was carried out in Pangkalan Kerinci District at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Pelalawan Regency. The aim of this research is to find out how drainage is managed and what are the inhibiting factors in the implementation of drainage management in Pangkalan Kerinci District. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses governance theory according to Sedarmayanti which uses 4 indicators to answer the problem formulation, namely: coordinating, motivating, communicating, and commanding. The results of this research show that drainage management in Pangkalan Kerinci District is not implemented or is not managed well. This is proven by the fact that the duties and functions of the Water Resources Sector are still not running as they should. This can be seen from the lack of long-term handling of drainage management, and the Water Resources Sector also does not have an SOP related to drainage management. Based on the findings, the researchers suggest that a long-term management plan be created so that drainage problems can be resolved as a whole and the PUPR Service should immediately formulate and issue SOPs for the smooth running of the PUPR Service in carrying out its duties and functions, especially the Water Resources Sector which has the authority to handle drainage problems technically.
