Optimalisasi Panjang Konduktor Grounding Grid Pada Gardu Induk 150 Kv Teluk Lembu Pekanbaru Dengan Menggunakan Bentuk T Dan Persegi Panjang Berdasarkan Standar Ieee 80 2013 Menggunakan Software Etap 19.0.1
The substation grounding system is a means of eliminating electrical currents into the earth caused by disturbances such as network disruption due to lightning strikes or overvoltage due to short circuits. The grounding system is designed to ensure that people around the substation are not exposed to the danger of electric shock. This research aims to optimize the design of the grounding system in a substation with a T and rectangular grid shape in terms of the total length of the conductor used with testing for a body weight of 50 kg. The method used in this research is to modify the shape of the grid in terms of the x and y axes and the addition of rods on each side of the grid grounding using ETAP 19.0.1 software based on the IEEE 80 - 2013 standard. The results of this research are that the permitted touch center size is obtained 842.118 Volts and a step voltage of 2876.33 Volts. From the model design applied, the best T-shaped design was obtained in terms of conductor length with a total of 613 meters. The actual touch voltage and step voltage are 834.4 Volts and 473.9 Volts with a ground resistance value (Rg) of 0.383 Ω according to IEEE 80 – 2013 standards.
