Isolasi Dan Uji Antibakteri Senyawa Metabolit Sekunder Dari Fraksi N-Heksana Kulit Batang Calophyllum Tetrapterum
Calophyllum tetrapterum is a medicinal plant that grows in Indonesia. Calophyllum has a variety of secondary metabolites, including coumarins, xanthones, terpenoids, benzophenones, and flavonoids. Secondary metabolites in this genus have several biological activities, including antiviral, antimicrobial, antimalarial, and anticancer. The aim of this research was to isolate and characterize secondary metabolites from the n-hexane fraction of C. tetrapterum stem bark and analyze the antibacterial activity of the n-hexane fraction of C. tetrapterum stem bark. This research employed the maceration method with n-hexane solvent, followed by separation using a gravity chromatography column, yielding 344 fractions.
