Analisis Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Kualitas Kepemimpinan Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Di Dinas Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Siak
This study analyzes the impact of the work environment, leadership quality, and work motivation on the performance of employees at the Department of Education and Culture in Siak Regency. The issues observed include low employee awareness of regulations, absenteeism during working hours, and a lack of understanding of the work system, leading to suboptimal performance. The phenomenon indicates that some employees do not comply with office rules, frequently leave their posts during working hours, arrive late, or leave early, thereby disrupting service to the public. This may be because the employees working do not match their educational background. The level of employee involvement in the organization is only focused on a few employees, thereby reducing the motivation of other people to work together. Determination of work standards is still not implemented well and is not evenly distributed, resulting in excessive workload on employees.
The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of the work environment, leadership quality, and work motivation on employee performance, focusing on the individual and simultaneous effects of these factors on performance. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method. The main instrument is a questionnaire distributed to 124 employees, with a sample size of 95 selected using stratified sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and tested for validity and reliability using SPSS 25.0.
Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to selected respondents. The questionnaires contained questions designed to measure the variables of the work environment, leadership quality, work motivation, and employee performance. After collection, the data were tested for validity and reliability using SPSS 25.0 to ensure data accuracy and consistency. This procedure aims to obtain accurate and reliable data for further analysis.
The results show that in the t-test, the work environment variable (t-count 2.872, Sig. 0.000), leadership quality (t-count 8.684, Sig. 0.000), and work motivation (t-count 6.009, Sig. 0.000) have a significant impact on employee performance. The F-test also indicates a significant regression model (F-count 63.585, Sig. 0.000), with the regression equation Y = 4.671 + 0.346X₁ + 0.700X₂ + 0.601X₃, and an R Square value of 0.677, indicating that 67.7% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three variables. The conclusion of this research is that the work environment, leadership quality, and work motivation positively and significantly affect employee performance, with leadership quality having the most dominant influence. The study suggests that to improve employee performance, more attention should be given to enhancing leadership quality, improving the work environment, and increasing work motivation. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to
