ABSTRACT
A tourist attraction is anything that has special value and is able to attract the interest and attention of tourists to visit. This tourist attraction can be a place, object or activity that offers a unique, interesting and different experience from everyday life. Religious tourism is defined as tourist activities that have special meaning for people of certain religions. This research was conducted at the An-Nur Grand Mosque, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The aim of this research is to find out how the An-Nur Grand Mosque attracts tourists to visit. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the actual situation by collecting information data obtained directly from the field. The informants for this research were five individuals. This research uses data collection techniques from observation, documentation and interviews. From this research it is known that the An-Nur Grand Mosque is one of the main religious tourist attractions in Pekanbaru City, Riau. This mosque not only functions as a place of worship, but also as a center for social and cultural activities for the local community and visitors from outside the area. An-Nur Grand Mosque is famous for its magnificent architecture that combines Middle Eastern, Indian and Malay architectural elements, creating a stunning and iconic structure. The mosque complex is also equipped with supporting facilities such as a library, multi-purpose room and large parking area, making it a comfortable and attractive tourist destination.
