Kopi Ikhlas Di Barak Kopi (Studi Kasus Social Entrepreneur)
This study examined the phenomenon of social entrepreneurship at Barak Kopi, which implemented the unique business model 'Kopi Ikhlas'. Using a qualitative approach, the research aimed to understand the background of Barak Kopi's formation and identify the forms of social entrepreneurship it practiced. The findings indicated that Barak Kopi served not only as a business entity but also as an agent of social change, enabling social interaction and economic sustainability through a "pay as you wish" payment model. This reflected an innovation in social entrepreneurship practices that was not only financially beneficial but also provided significant social benefits. The study is expected to offer new insights into social entrepreneurship literature and serve as a reference for the development of similar sustainable models. The research used a descriptive qualitative methodology and involved 5 informants who were the owner and employees at Barak Coffe. Data collection was conducted using interviews, direct observation, and documentation techniques. The analysis showed that the social entrepreneurship at Barak Kopi was initiated by the owner's idea to launch the Kopi Ikhlas innovation so everyone could enjoy a cup of coffee. These five informants mentioned three types of social entrepreneurship found at Barak Kopi: Kopi Ikhlas, teaching classes, and fundraising.
