The development of information technology has changed the landscape of modern life, including the way children interact with their environment. The use of gadgets has become an integral part of daily life, providing great benefits but also posing significant risks, especially for children. The role of parents in supervising children's use of gadgets becomes very important in an effort to guide them in responsible and healthy use. Effective supervision from parents plays a key role in controlling excessive or unhealthy gadget use by children. Parents need to understand the importance of limiting screen time and monitoring the content their children access. In addition, they should also set a good example by managing screen time and reinforcing open communication regarding gadget use. Parental supervision in coaching children's screen time is key to ensuring that children develop a healthy relationship with technology. With careful supervision and a purposeful approach, parents can help children optimize the benefits of technology while minimizing the risks associated with unhealthy gadget use.
