Pelaksanaan Fungsi Keluarga Di Desa Pagaran Tapah Kecamatan Pagaran Tapah Darussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hulu (Studi Kasus: Pernikahan Dini)

This research was conducted in Pagaran Tapah Village, Pagaran Tapah Darussalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The aim of this research is to find out how family functions are implemented by couples who marry early in Pagaran Tapah Village and what factors influence the implementation of these family functions. Subjects in this research were taken using a purposive sampling technique, namely by using criteria. The theory used in this research is Talcott Parson’s Structural Functional, namely by looking at the structure and function within a family with the implementation of family functions according to the concept of Paul B. Horton and Chester L. Hunt. The method in this research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and a case study type of research. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research are that all of the pairs of subjects in this research did not go well in carrying out their socialization, protection, and economic functions, but in carrying out the affection function of the 5 pairs of subjects, there were 3 pairs that went well. The obstacles experienced by the subject couple in carrying out family functions were low knowledge, not having experience, not having a job, unstable emotions, poor communication, and not being able to manage finances.
