Hubungan Keaktifan Dalam Berorganisasi (Ikatan Mahasiswa Sosiologi) Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Mahasiswa
The research was conducted in the Sociology Student Association at the University of Riau for the 2022-2023 period, with the aim of understanding the level of student participation in the organization, their academic achievements, and the relationship between organizational activity and academic performance within the Sociology Student Association. This study employed a quantitative approach with inferential analysis, involving a sample of 59 respondents. The sampling method used was census sampling, and data collection was carried out through observation, structured interviews using questionnaires, and documentation. According to the findings, the level of organizational activity within the Sociology Student Association for the 2022-2023 period is moderate, as indicated by a percentage categorization of 64.6%. Meanwhile, the academic performance of the Sociology Student Association for the 2022-2023 period is categorized as excellent, with a percentage of 96.6%. The relationship between involvement in organizational activities and academic achievement among members of the Sociology Student Association (IMS) for the 2022-2023 period is reflected by a correlation coefficient of -0.066. This negative sign indicates a very weak negative correlation between the variables X and Y.
