Penggunaan Instagram Terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif Penggemar Korean Pop (K-Pop) Di Kota Pekanbaru
Instagram is a social media that is used to upload photos and videos as a medium for sharing information. There are three aspects of using Instagram, namely accessing Instagram, the influence of advertising, and Instagaram features. The use of Instagram can also lead to consumptive behavior. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of using Instagram on the consumptive behavior of K-Pop fans and to determine the consumptive behavior caused by K-Pop fans in using Instagram. Consumptive behavior includes impulsive buying, wasteful buying, and non rational buying. This study uses a type of quantitative research. The sampling method used a total sampling, namely in the Moarmy Pekanbaru fandom, which amounted to 70 respondents. The theory used is the theory of consumptive behavior by Jean Baudrillard. The results showed that the use of Instagram has a significant effect on the consumptive behavior of K-Pop fans. This is evidenced by the value of t count > t table which is 9.140 > 1.996 and the sig value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted. In this study, the independent variables can explain the dependent variable with a coefficient of determination (r-square) value of 0.551 which indicates that 55.1% of the variability in the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable.
