Kontrol Sosial Orangtua Terhadap Pengendara Sepeda Motor Dibawah Umur Pada Lokasi Parkir Yassir Kota Pekanbaru
Parental control over underage motorcyclists is an important aspect of monitoring and maintaining children's riding safety. This study aims to identify the control techniques applied by parents and determine the factors that influence the use of motorcycles by minors.. The research method used in this research is quantitative method, involving 47 respondents. The technique used in sampling is simple random sampling technique. The results showed that there were 4 parental control techniques for children riding motorbikes, namely persuasive, pervasion, compulsion and coercive, with coercive being the most effective technique because it obtained the highest score. When analyzed from the factors that influence children's use of motorcycles, environmental influences show the greatest impact, with the highest score compared to parents' busyness, time efficiency, and saving transportation costs.
