Analisis Karakter Kerjasama Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Stad Pada Siswa Kelas V Sd Negeri 189 Pekanbaru
The individualist character is still prominent in the current era of globalization, so that the character of cooperation is not yet visible and is relatively low, such as lack of empathy towards friends, loss of manners, lack of tolerance, the emergence of student gangs, intimidation and other destructive actions. This problem was discovered in class V students through initial observations at SD Negeri 189 Pekanbaru. Observations during the learning process using ordinary methods show that the character of cooperation has not yet emerged optimally. So the aim of this research is to determine the character cooperation that occurs through the STAD type cooperative learning model in class V students at SD Negeri 189 Pekanbaru. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The research results showed that the cooperative character of class VB students received an average range of 70% with a good category which was observed from 5 aspects and used as an indicator, namely being willing to join a group, helping each other, participating in the group, respecting contributions and being responsible for the group.
