Career decision making is a process in which a person determines the career direction or path they want to take based on various factors such as personal interests, talents, values, job opportunities, and job market conditions. This process involves self-assessment, research into available career options, and consideration of the long-term impact of each option.
The research entitled The Effect of Classical Guidance Services Using Multimedia on Career Decision Making for Class
This research is quantitative research. Quantitative research in this study uses an experimental method with a one group pre test-post test design, with a one subject group design. Data collection was carried out by distributing pretest and posttest questionnaires which were then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with the help of the SPSS Version 25 program.
Based on the results of the data obtained, there was an increase in students' career decision making before and after being given treatment in the form of classical guidance. Furthermore, this research shows that there are differences in the level of student career decision making before and after implementing classical guidance. Then we found the influence of classical guidance services on students' career decision making with a contribution of 36%, the remaining 64% was influenced by other factors such as the influence of other media, peers, parental support, self-control, emotional stability, and career planning.
