Pengaruh Warna Latar Wadah Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Patin Siam (Pangasius Hypophthalmus)

Aquaculture activities depend on the availability of sustainable seeds both in terms of quality and quantity. One approach to increase the growth of Siamese catfish larvae is by giving the background color of the container. The experiment was conducted for 40 days from March to April 2024 at the Fish Hatchery and Nursery Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Riau University. The methods used in this study were experimental methods with a one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five levels of treatment and three replicates. Treatment in this study was the difference in container background color, namely that the background color of the container P1 (green) P2 (light blue) P3 (dark blue) P4 (purple) P5 (black). This study used Siamese catfish larvae aged 5 days after hatching with a stocking density of 2 heads L-1. During maintenance, the larvae were fed with Artemia sp for the first 10 days and continued with Tubifex sp. until 40 days.
