Pengaruh Bimbingan Kelompok Teknik Self Management Untuk Meningkatkan Kontrol Diri Siswa Yang Kecanduan Tiktok
TikTok scrolling addiction has both positive and negative impacts on adolescent development and the learning process. The negative impacts arising from this TikTok scroll cannot be ignored. This TikTok scrolling addiction behavior can be influenced by internal and external factors so that there are many things that cause teenagers to excessively scroll through TikTok. However, no matter how strong the causal factors are, humans can still regulate them through a process of self-control. Self-control is a person's ability to regulate themselves in acting in a positive direction by controlling the external factors they face from various situations in their surrounding environment.
The research entitled "The Effect of Group Guidance on Self Management Techniques to Increase the Self-Control of Students who are Addicted to Tiktok" aims to determine the effect of group guidance using self-management techniques on increasing the self-control of students who are addicted to Tiktok. The type of research used is quantitative research with experimental research. The research subjects were students in class VIII of Pekanbaru Telecommunication Middle School who had low self-control, with a sample of 9 students. Data collection was carried out through distributing pretests and posttests regarding the self-control of students who are addicted to TikTok scrolling which was then analyzed using the results of the N-Gain Score test calculation with the help of the Microsoft Excel program.
Based on the results of this formulation, it can be concluded that the results of the research hypothesis are accepted. These results indicate that group guidance with self-management techniques is significantly correlated in increasing the self-control of students who are addicted to TikTok.
