This study aims to 1) Analyse the effect of education on farmers' income in
Terusan Beringin Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency.2) Analyse the effect of age on
farmer income in Terusan Beringin Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency.3) Analyse the
effect of land area on farmer income in Terusan Beringin Village, Indragiri Hilir
Regency.
The sample method used is the Simple Random Sampling method, where a
population of 58 farmers were sampled in this study.The method used is descriptive
quantitative and multiple regression analysis processed using the IBM SPSS 23 for
Windows program with socio-economic variables, namely: These variables are
used to see the effect on the income of coconut farmers in Terusan Beringin Jaya
Village.
The results in this study show 1) Age has a positive and significant influence
on the income of coconut farmers in Terusan Beringin Jaya Village, Indragiri Hilir
Regency.2) The level of education has a positive and significant effect on the income
of deep coconut farmers in Terusan Beringin Jaya Village, Indragiri Hilir
Regency.3) The size of the farmer's land has a positive and significant effect on the
income of deep coconut farmers in Terusan Beringin Jaya Village, Indragiri Hilir
Regency.
