Pengaruh Ketepatan Pemilihan Program Studi Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Riau
This research aims to measure the effectiveness of implementing the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type learning model assisted by Student Worksheets (LKPD) in increasing students' interest in learning. The TGT approach is known to be able to create a pleasant learning atmosphere through healthy competition between groups of students, while the LKPD acts as a tool that guides students in the learning process. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. Data was collected through a learning interest questionnaire and analyzed using the t test to determine significant differences between the experimental group and the control group. The research results show that the application of the TGT model assisted by LKPD significantly increases students' interest in learning compared to conventional learning models. Students' interest in learning increases when learning is carried out using the TGT type learning model assisted by LKPD, namely 28,617. The mean N-gain score is 0.8108, so 0.8108 ≥ 0.7 is included in the high category. So it can be concluded that the application of the TGT type learning model assisted by LKPD is effective in the high category for increasing students' interest in learning at SMA Negeri 5 Tapung. This shows that TGT assisted by LKPD is an effective alternative learning model for increasing students' interest in learning.
