Pemeliharaan Ikan Nilem (Osteochilus hasselti) Dengan Pemberian Pakan Yang Mengandung Enzim Papain Pada Sistem Resirkulasi
The aim of this research is to determine the optimal dose of papain added to commercial feed to enhance the growth of Nilem fish fry (Osteochilus hasselti). The study utilized 15 aquariums, each measuring 60 x 40 x 40 cm, with a stocking density of 20 fish /m³. This research employed an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with a single factor, five treatments, and three replications. The treatments applied were feed containing different doses of papain enzyme, namely P0 = no papain enzyme added, P1 = 1,25%/kg of feed, P2 = 2.25%/kg of feed, P3 = 3.25%/kg of feed, and P4 = 4,25%/kg of feed. The results showed that the addition of papain enzyme to the feed had a significant effect (P0.05) on survival rate. The best growth rate was found in the P3 treatment, with an absolute weight of 7.09±0.04 grams, absolute length of 5.51±0.29 cm, specific growth rate of 3.52±0.14% per day, feed conversion ratio of 1,39±0,05%, survival rate of 100±0.00%, and feed digestibility of 81%.
