Analisis Spasial Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kunjungan Pasien Hipertensi Yang Menjalani Pengobatan Di Rsud Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti Tahun 2024
Hypertension is a health issue of concern in the Kepulauan Meranti Regency. Socio- demographic and geographic characteristics are risk factors that can influence patient visits. This study aims to explain the factors affecting hypertension patient visits based on the classification of hypertension among patients seeking treatment at the Kepulauan Meranti Regional General Hospital (RSUD). This cross-sectional study utilized medical records of patients from January to July 2024, containing socio-demographic data, geographic information, and spatial data in the form of patient address coordinates. Data analysis was conducted univariately, bivariately using the chi-square test, and spatially. Patients with grade 2 hypertension were found to dominate in this region. The factors analyzed for their influence on patient visits included age (p=0.726), gender (p=1.000), payment method (p=0.438), access to transportation (p=0.111), and residential location accessibility (p=0.362). The results indicated no significant influence of patients' socio-demographic and geographic factors on their visits. Statistically insignificant results could be attributed to a small sample size or similar values between observed and expected data. The variation in patient characteristics and limited sample size pose challenges for healthcare workers, government bodies, and researchers in identifying the most influential factors affecting hospital visits by hypertension patients. Therefore, further research incorporating additional variables is needed to expand the potential factors influencing hypertension patient visits to hospitals.
