Analisis Jaringan Komunikasi Pekebun Karet Pola Swadaya Di Desa Pulau Deras Kecamatan Pangean Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This study examines the communication network conditions in Pulau Deras Village, which are currently minimal, and reveals a lack of interest among rubber farmers in sector development information. The aim of the research is to describe the characteristics of rubber farmers, analyze the communication network, and assess the strength and significance within the communication network. The research was conducted in Pulau Deras Village using a survey method with purposive sampling. Out of 32 farmers in the Bonca Mayiang farmer group, 20 were selected as samples. Data were analyzed using Likert scale, Ucinet VI, and Cartesian diagrams. The results indicate that the communication network pattern among farmers is an all-channel pattern with key actors being actor Y and RM. The individual communication network analysis shows local and global centralization, connectivity, and cohesiveness, with actor Y having the highest value.
