Pengaruh Ketidaksetaraan Gender Di Bidang Pendidikan Terhadap Kemiskin Di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to see whether there is an effect of gender inequality in 3 education indicators, namely the highest education completed, average years of schooling, literacy rate on poverty in Rokan Hilir Regency in 2013-2022. The data used in this research is secondary data which is time series. The method in this study uses multiple regression analysis, statistical testing including the f test, t test, and R square, as well as the classical assumption test, namely normality, multicollinearity heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation with the help of the SPSS program.
The results of this study show that the highest education completed by men has a significant negative effect on poverty and the highest education completed by women has a significant negative effect on poverty. It can be concluded that gender inequality in the highest education completed affects poverty. The average years of schooling for men has a significant negative effect on poverty and the average years of schooling for women has a negative and significant effect on poverty. It can be concluded that gender inequality in average years of schooling affects poverty. Male literacy rate has a significant negative effect on poverty and female literacy rate has a negative and significant effect on poverty. It can be concluded that gender inequality in literacy rate affects poverty.
