Status Keberlanjutan Perikanan Tangkap Menggunakan Bubu Tiang di Kepenghuluan Raja Bejamu, Kecamatan Sinaboi, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
The sustainability status of capture fisheries is a concept that emphasizes the preservation of fishery resources during the fishing process. This study aims to assess the sustainability status of the fixed trap fishing method based on ecological, economic, technological, institutional, and social aspects in Raja Bejamu Village, Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The research was conducted in June 2024 in Raja Bejamu Village, Sinaboi District, Rokan Hilir Regency. A survey method was employed for data collection related to the sustainability aspects of fixed trap fisheries, using questionnaires. The scope of data collection included interviews with fishermen, direct observations of fishing activities, and the recording of data related to the environmental conditions and fishery resources in the area. The sustainability analysis was carried out using the Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries (RAPFISH) method. The results indicated that the multidimensional sustainability index of fixed trap fishing was 63.85% (moderately sustainable). This index was derived from 38 attributes across five aspects: ecological aspect with an index of 46.26% (not sustainable), economic aspect with an index of 52.00% (moderately sustainable), technological aspect with an index of 81.29% (sustainable), institutional aspect with an index of 54.11% (moderately sustainable), and social aspect with an index of 81.73% (sustainable).
