This research examines the social capital of foster children at the Amanah YKWI (Islamic Women's Unity Foundation) Orphanage in Pekanbaru City. The aim of this research is to find out the social capital of foster children in the orphanage and the role of orphanage administrators in facilitating the development of social capital of foster children in the Amanah YKWI Orphanage in Pekanbaru City, where the foster children live together for 24 hours, of course they need social capital which includes the social networks, beliefs and social norms of foster children. In determining the informants, the Purposive Sampling Technique was used, namely a technique for determining research subjects based on the presence of special characteristics determined by the researcher, namely 7 (seven) female foster children taking high school and vocational school education. The theory used was the theory of social capital by James Coleman.The results of the research obtained are that there is a good social network between fellow foster children and foster children and orphanage administrators and there is also a good social network with orphanage alumni and orphanage donors, there is a high sense of trust between foster children and foster children. and the orphanage administrators, and also the social norms of the foster children at the YKWI Amanah Orphanage are also classified as very good, and there is also full support from the orphanage administrators for the social capital of the foster children.
