The national smallholder oil palm replanting program has been implemented since 2017 using government grants through the Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS). The program is implemented to increase the productivity of oil palm plantations with sustainable cultivation practices. Various regulations are set to support the implementation of the program. The main target of this program is oil palm smallholders and their institutions. Support and active rolesfrom variouspartiesare neededso that thetarget of rejuvenation of plantations is met and the replacement of unproductive plants can be carried out. The Village Unit Cooperative (KUD) as the closest agency to the planters is expected to be able to carry out its role as a long hand of the government. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the role of KUD in the preparation of oil palm replanting in Bukit Lembah Subur Village, Pelalawan Regency, 2) To find out the level of preparation for oil palm replanting in Bukit Lembah Village, Pelalawan Regency. The population inthisstudy isplanterswho aremembersofKUDand usepurposive sampling. The number of samples used was 55 planters. The data analysis method used in this study is qualitative descriptive analysis using the Likert Scale. The role of KUDin the preparation ofoil palmreplanting isin thecategory of very important with an average score of 4.54. KUD plays a role in disseminating information on the PSR program, assisting in the fulfillment of smallholder administration, preparing a plan for cost needs, and training for planters to prepare for replanting properly.
