Inventarisasi Jenis - Jenis Ikan Di Sungai Siak Kecamatan Siak Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau

The Siak River is the main source of livelihood for fishing communities living around the river. The types of fish in the Siak River have decreased due to contamination from industrial and household waste. The study aims to determine the types of fish in the Siak River, so inventory activities were carried out. The research was conducted in November-February 2024, using the survey method. The results found fish species from 3 orders, 10 families, 12 genus, and 12 species. 12 species found 2 types of fish (16%) from the Cyprinidae and Bagridae families are the most common distribution. 1 type of fish (8%) from the Pangasidae, Siluridae, Clariidae, Channidae, Cilchlidae, Eleotidae, Helostomatidae, Ambassidae families is a little distribution found.
