Kemampuan Menulis Distikon Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru

This research aims to determine and describe the level of writing ability of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru students. The duration of the research lasted for 10 days from 6 to 15 August 2024, with a sample of 40 class X students. The data collection methods used were observation and tests. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques. The ability to write distikon of class The theme suitability aspect obtained the highest average score, namely 94.18, and the lowest average score of 65.88 was found in the language style aspect. The results of data analysis showed that the average writing ability of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru students was 78.73%. It can be concluded that the writing ability of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru students is in the medium category.
