Hubungan Pemanfaatan Beasiswa Terhadap Prestasi Mahasiswa Kip Kuliah Di Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Riau
This study aims to analyze the relationship between the utilization of the KIP Kuliah scholarship and student achievement at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau. Scholarship utilization was measured through eight indicators: book purchases, prints and photocopies, internet quota, consumption, boarding/contract costs, transportation, skill updates and participating in competitions. Meanwhile, student achievement was measured through Grade Point Average (GPA) and the number of Semester Credit Units (SKS). This study uses an inferential quantitative approach with correlational analysis. The population of this study were students who received the KIP Lecture scholarship at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau with a sample of 92 respondents. Sampling using random sampling technique. Data collection methods in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that scholarship utilization has a significant relationship with student achievement with a correlation level of 0.418 which is classified as moderate. To support the results, statistical tests are used, where the Fcount value (19.081) is greater than Ftable (3.95), and the Thitung value (4.368) is greater than Ttabel (1.66196), which means that the Ha hypothesis is accepted. In addition, other variables outside of scholarship utilization affect student achievement by 0.582.
