Pengaruh Minat Dan Kedisiplinan Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Di SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru
This research aims to analyze the influence of interest and learning discipline on student learning outcomes in Economics subjects at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Interest in learning is one of the internal factors that motivates students to understand the subject matter, while learning discipline reflects the level of student compliance with the rules and regulations applied in the learning process. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational descriptive approach. The sample used in this research was 120 students selected randomly from all class XI students. Data is collected through a questionnaire that measures interest in learning, learning discipline, and student learning outcomes which are measured through final semester exam scores. The results of the regression analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence between interest in learning on student learning outcomes with a regression coefficient value of r 0.635 or 63.5% and the remaining 36.5% (100% - 63.5%) is influenced by other factors that are not examined in this research. The results of this research show that interest and learning discipline play an important role in improving student learning outcomes in Economics subjects. The implication of this research is the importance of teachers and schools to increase students' interest in learning through more interesting learning strategies and increasing learning discipline through consistent enforcement of rules. In this way, it is hoped that students can achieve more optimal learning outcomes.
