Analisis Minat Siswa Dalam Mengikuti Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Wajib Dan Terpilih Di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Sentajo Raya

Analysis of students' interest in participating in mandatory and selected extracurricular activities at State Senior High School 1 Sentajo Raya was conducted because of the phenomenon where there were few or few students participating in extracurricular activities at school. The purpose of the study was to see students' interests based on intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The type of quantitative descriptive research was used in order to describe the research data. The analysis used was the percentage formula of 124 students as the research sample. The questionnaire was the instrument in this study, as many as 30 statements were given to male and female students at State Senior High School 1 Sentajo Raya. The results of the study of students' interest in participating in elective or mandatory extracurricular activities based on intrinsic factors were in the high category or 47% for mandatory extracurricular activities while for elective activities in the low category or 49%. The extrinsic factor of students' interest in participating in compulsory or selected extracurricular activities was known in the interest in compulsory extracurricular activities, students' interest was in the low category based on a percentage of 59% and for elective extracurricular activities it was also the same, namely in the low category with a percentage of 62%.
