Pengembangan Video Animasi Berbasis Budaya Melayu Pada Materi Geometri Di Sekolah Dasar
This research aims to develop Malay culture-based animation videos on geometry material in elementary schools. The type of research used is development research (Research and Development / R&D) with the Plomp model which consists of 3 phases, namely Pleminary Research Phase, Developing or Prototyping Phase, Assessment Phase. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and questionnaires. Researchers conducted validity tests on three validators consisting of media experts, material experts and language experts. Researchers also conducted practicality tests on 2 teachers and 9 students consisting of 3 people in one to one evaluation and 6 people in small group evaluation. The results of the research show that the product developed is declared very valid with an average percentage of media experts getting a score of 98.68%, material experts getting a score of 88% and language experts getting a score of 98,21% and it is declared very practical with an average percentage of teachers getting a score 96.42% and students obtained a score of 89.72%. It can be concluded that Malay culture-based animation videos on geometry material in elementary schools are declared to be very valid and practical and suitable for use in learning.
