Toll road construction is an effort made by the government to increase accessibility and support the regional economy in Indonesia, where the toll road construction process requires large land allocations so that it often impacts community-owned land, one of the government's efforts to fulfill the required land allocation is by acquiring land to communities whose land is affected by toll road construction. This research aims to determine the impact of toll road land acquisition on the socio- economic conditions of farmers in Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, as well as to find out the survival strategies used by farmers during toll road land acquisition. This research uses the subsistence ethics theory proposed by James C. Scott. This type of research, based on analysis, includes field research. The population and sample in this study were all farmers whose land was affected by land acquisition on the Pekanbaru-Rengat toll road, namely 30 respondents. The data collection technique in this research uses direct observation carried out by researchers in the field, using questionnaires, observation and documentation instruments. Data analysis in this study used the class interval formula and arithmetic average. The results of this research show that social conditions are included in the non-dominant category with a score of 695 and included in the negative impact with a percentage of 36.7% with a total of 19 respondents, while the impact of toll road land acquisition on economic conditions is included in the dominant category with The total score was 963 and was included in the positive impact with a percentage of 100.0% where the total number of respondents was 30 people. Meanwhile, the survival strategy carried out by farmers during toll road land acquisition shows that tying the belt tighter is included in the non-dominant category with a total score of 515, but on the other hand, the alternative concept is included in the dominant category with a total score of 867, while social networks are included. in the non-dominant category with a total score of 596.
