Pengaruh Kombinasi Pupuk NPK, Kompos Solid dan Pupuk Hayati yang Disimpan terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.) di Tanah Inceptisol
Biofertilizer viability will decrease, a carrier material is needed that can maintain the shelf life of the biofertilizer. The carrier material used in this research as a storage medium was M. bracteata. This research aims to obtain the best shelf life from long storage of biofertilizer to support the growth and production of sweet corn. The research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments and 4 replications so that 28 experimental units were obtained with the treatments being tested were P1: 100% inorganic fertilizer; P2, P3, P4: 75%inorganicfertilizer +100%sludgepalmoil +biofertilizer 10 ml (10% M. bracteata) which is stored for 0, 1 dan 2 months ; P5, P6,P7: 50% inorganic fertilizer +100%sludgepalm oil+biofertilizer 10 ml (10% M. bracteata) which is stored for 0, 1 dan 2 months. The results of the research show that the combination of NPK fertilizer, sludge palm oil and the stored biofertilizer is able to increase plant height, production per plot, cob weight without husks and cob length without husks in sweet corn plants and is able to reduce the use of NPK fertilizer by 25%.
Keywords: Sweet corn, NPK fertilizer, sludge compost, stored biofertilizer, Mucuna bracteata.
