Respon Bibit Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Fase Main Nursery Pada Pemberian Asam Humat Dan Pupuk N, P Dan K
ABSTRACT
Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is a leading commodity in Riau Province. A total of 129,274 hectares of old and damaged oil palm land need rejuvenation which requires quality seedlings. Ultisol planting media, which is commonly used, has low fertility constraints. This study aims to test the influence of humic acid and N, P, K fertilizers and determine the best dose for the growth of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery. The research was conducted in Tapung, Kampar Regency, Riau, from February to June 2024 using a factorial complete random design (RAL). Treatment factors include humic acid (25 g, 50 g, and 75 g) and fertilizers N, P, K (50%, 75%, and 100% of the recommended dose). The parameters observed were the increase in seedling height, increase in tuber diameter, increase in number of leaves, fresh weight of seedlings, root volume, dry weight of seedlings and root crown ratio. The results showed that the combination of 75 g of humic acid with N, P, K fertilizers at the recommended dose of 100% resulted in optimal growth of oil palm seedlings of the DxP PPKS 540 variety in Ultisol soil.
