Upaya Meningkatkan Proses Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga Kesehatan Melalui Modifikasi Permainan Pada Siswa Kelas Vii 1 Smp Negeri 2 Kuantan Hilir
The problem in this research is the lack of student activity in learning, which is what makes the learning process not run well. The teacher only uses lecture and demonstration methods. This research aims to improve the PJOK learning process. The assessment carried out was the students' 4C (Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication) abilities and their activeness in learning Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) through the application of game modification methods. This research was conducted using a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach which consists of two cycles. The research subjects were 26 class VII1 students at SMP Negeri 2 Kuantan Hilir. Data was collected through observation and documentation. The instrument used was an observation sheet containing 4C assessment indicators as well as teacher and student activities. The research results showed a significant increase in students' 4C abilities from pre-cycle to cycle II. In the pre-cycle stage, only 34.61% were active, then at the end of cycle I it reached 61.54% and at the end of cycle II it increased to 73.08%. In conclusion, the application of game modification methods can improve the PJOK learning process. Recommendations are given to students to be more active, to teachers to create more enjoyable learning, and to schools to improve sports facilities and infrastructure.
