ABSTRACT
The growth and development of children is an important process in shaping a child's behavior and character. However, there are developmental disorders such as autism that can hinder this process. Autism is a neurological disorder typically caused by hereditary factors and is evident within the first three years of a child's life. This disorder affects the child’s social abilities, communication, and flexibility, and also causes sensitivity to sound and touch. In Indonesia, the number of autistic children is significant, with data showing an increase every year. Autism treatment requires specialized therapy. Therefore, an Autism Care Center is needed, which should be more adequate to support the development of children with autism. The design of this center must adopt the concept of behavioral architecture, which takes into account the needs and behaviors of children with autism. Behavioral architecture emphasizes the importance of considering human behavioral factors in design to create environments that support user activities. The goal of designing this facility is to provide an environment that helps children with autism grow and develop optimally, as well as train their communication and motor skills, just like children of their age.
