ABSTRACT
Parking service fees are one type of PAD that has high potential in Pekanbaru City. However, revenue from parking service fees in Pekanbaru City is still low so that the contribution to PAD is also still low and there is no appropriate strategy to optimize it. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to formulate an appropriate strategy to optimize parking service fee revenue in Pekanbaru City. This study uses documentation methods and parking user interviews and document studies as data collection techniques. Then from the data obtained we calculate IFAS-EFAS, SWOT quadrants, matrices and SWOT analysis.
The results of the parking service fee revenue strategy in Pekanbaru City are the Turn Around strategy or SO (Strength-Opportunity) strategy. The following are SO strategies in optimizing parking service fee revenue in Pekanbaru City, namely: (1) utilizing adequate parking facilities to support the construction of parking buildings to reduce congestion, (2) increasing the efficiency of parking management by implementing a digital system using EDC machines, (3) utilizing strategic locations to expand the scope of parking services in commercial areas, (4) utilizing opportunities for motor vehicle growth to increase parking fee revenue.
