Pola Komunikasi Dalam Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat (Psr) Di Desa Sialang Sakti Kecamatan Dayun Kabupaten Siak
ABSTRACT
This study aims to: (1) Describe the communication process; (2) Analyze communication network patterns along with the roles and social positions of actors; (3) Analyze individual-level communication networks; and (4) Analyze the level of power and interest of actors in the palm oil replanting program at Gapoktan Manunggal Sakti. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method involving 60 farmers participating in PSR phase III and one Gapoktan administrator as respondents. The sampling technique used is census sampling, where all 60 PSR participants and one administrator were included. To address the research objectives, analytical tools such as descriptive analysis, sociometric analysis, individual-level network analysis, and actor identification using UCINET VI and SPSS 22 were applied. The results indicate that the communication pattern formed is an interlocking personal network for interpersonal communication and a radial personal network for group communication. Actors serve as hubs, cutpoints, and gatekeepers, with their positions distributed across quadrants II, III, and IV of the Cartesian Diagram. Based on the individual-level network analysis, no central actor was found, indicating that group communication via WhatsApp is more effective in disseminating information related to the replanting program at Gapoktan Manunggal Sakti.
