Biologi reproduksi dan kandungan nutrisi pada telur ikan gabus (Channa striata Bloch, 1793) di danau lubuk siam kecamatan siak hulu kabupaten kampar
Snakehead fish (Channa striata bloch, 1793) is a type of fish that lives in
Lake Lubuk Siam and has high economic value. The research, which aims to
understand the reproductive biology and nutritional content of snakehead fish
eggs, was carried out in December 2023 – January 2024. Fish sampling 2-3 times
for 2 months was carried out with the help of fishermen using bubu fishing gear
and human nets. Water quality measurements were carried out at the research site
at the same time as fish sampling, while the proximate test analysis was carried
out at the Chemistry Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs,
University of Riau. The total fish samples caught during the study were 43 fish
(24 males and 19 females) with a sex ratio of 1,5 : 1. There were 6 female fish in
TKG 4 that were found during the study. The calculation of nutrients in snakehead
fish eggs was obtained with a fat content of 29%, water 59%, carbohydrates 1%,
ash 3%, and protein 7%.
