pengembangan bahan ajar penyajian data dengan pendekatan rme berbasis budaya kampar di sekolah dasar
This research aims to develop teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematics
Education (RME) on data presentation materials in elementary schools that have
valid and practical characteristics. The method used in this research is Research
and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model, which includes four
stages: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The teaching materials
developed were validated by three experts, namely material experts, media experts
and language experts. Meanwhile, the practicality aspect was assessed through a
practicality questionnaire given to teachers and students during limited trials.
Data collection techniques in this research include interviews, observation, and
questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed using quantitative analysis
techniques and qualitative descriptions. The validation results show that the
teaching materials developed meet the valid criteria with an average percentage
of 91.59%. Meanwhile, the level of practicality of teaching materials based on the
teacher practicality questionnaire reached 91.6% with the "very practical"
category, and the students' practicality questionnaire obtained results of 88.67%
with the same category. Based on the results of the validation and practicality test,
it can be concluded that the teaching materials for presenting data using the RME
approach based on Kampar culture in elementary schools have met the valid and
practical criteria, so they are suitable for use in learning.
