Persepsi Petani Jagung Terhadap Digitalisasi Dalam Mendukung Usahatani Di Kelurahan Sidomulyo Barat Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Farmers' perceptions of digitalization are significantly influenced by several factors, including education level, age, farming experience, digital skills, and access to information or training. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of corn farmers regarding digitalization in supporting their agricultural activities, particularly the use of the SIPINDO (Indonesian Agricultural Information System) application in Sidomulyo Barat. The research focuses on farmers' characteristics, their behavior toward the SIPINDO application (including knowledge, attitude, and skills), as well as their perceptions of the application's usefulness and ease of use, based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The method used is a descriptive quantitative survey with a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that the majority of farmers have a positive attitude toward using SIPINDO, although their digital skills remain relatively low. The level of application acceptance is influenced by perceived usefulness and ease of use. Therefore, enhancing digital literacy and providing intensive assistance are essential for optimizing the adoption of agricultural digitalization by farmers.
