Desain Dan Pembuatan Prototipe Atap Otomatis Berbasis Sensor Cahaya Dan Air Hujan Menggunakan Mikrokontroler Nodemcu Esp8266
ABSTRACT
This study aims to design and create a prototype of an automatic sliding roof utilizing a mechanism based on a rack and pinion gear, driven by a DC motor, and controlled by sensors and microcontrollers. The results of making the tool components: a fixed frame measuring 1750 mm long x 800 mm wide and 250 mm high, a sliding frame measuring 900 mm long x 800 mm wide, gear design, fiber roof mounting motor mount, an electronic system using nodemcu esp8266 microcontroller, LDR light sensor, and raindrop water sensor. The test results showed that the tool worked well, as the rainwater and light sensor system successfully detected the roof opening and closing according to the control, with an average time of 3 seconds. This tool is useful for household and MSME needs as air circulation from extreme weather, as well as industrial needs as ventilation and lighting arrangements in warehouses or factories.
