Analisis Perbandingan Ketahanan Mata Pisau Chipper Rauma Terhadap Jenis Kayu
ABSTRACT
The woodyard department is a sector dedicated to the preparation of raw chip materials, starting from the arrangement of wood blocks, sorting the quality of logs or raw materials before the chipping process, sorting the size of the chips, and processing waste materials that have value such as processing unwanted bark in the pulping process into boiler fuel after going through several processes. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the highest chipper blade durability or duration of chipper blade usage was found in Carpa Debark wood, which was 400 minutes or converted into hours, which was 6 hours 40 minutes, and the lowest chipper blade durability was also found in Euca Debark wood with a duration of use for 335 minutes or converted into hours, which was 5 hours 35 minutes. And the duration of the chipper blade change between Carpa debark and Euca debark wood types had the same blade change time, which was 3 times. In addition, the results of the study were obtained by taking chip samples on the rauma chipper after changing the blade with a distance of 3 hours after running using Scan Chip. Where the difference in accept chip obtained, where in the acra debark type of wood in the first 3 hours the number of accept chips was 81.5% and the second 3 hours with accept chips 79.4%. While for the euca debark type of wood, the accept chip was obtained in the first 3 hours, namely 87.8% and the accept chip in the second 3 hours, namely 88.7%.
