Interpretasi Distribusi Air Bawah Tanah Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Konfigurasi Wenner-Schlumberger Dan Geokimia Di Kelurahan Perhentian Marpoyan Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai
This research aims to examine the potential and quality of groundwater in
Perhentian Marpoyan Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, using the
geoelectric resistivity method with the Wenner-Schlumberger configuration to
identify subsurface structures and detect aquifer layers. The collected data were
processed using Res2Dinv software to produce a two-dimensional resistivity
model. Model interpretation indicates the presence of subsurface layers up to a
depth of 19.80 meters, with resistivity values ranging from 18.3 Ωm to 1202866
Ωm. The aquifer zone was identified at depths of 1.25 to 6.38 meters, with
resistivity values between 18.3 and 569 Ωm, which corresponds to the general
characteristics of water-bearing rocks like sand and gravel. Additionally, a
geochemical analysis was conducted to evaluate groundwater quality based on
physical and chemical parameters, namely pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS),
conductivity, and turbidity. A total of 25 groundwater samples were tested, and the
spatial distribution of these parameters was visualized using Surfer software. The
test results showed that pH values ranged from 3.96 to 7.14, indicating slightly
acidic conditions at some locations. TDS values ranged from 22 to 558 mg/L,
which are generally within safe limits for domestic consumption, although some
locations showed higher concentrations. Conductivity varied from 46 to 950
µS/cm, reflecting the presence of significant dissolved minerals, while turbidity
values ranged from 0.01 to 73.8 NTU, with some samples exceeding clean water
standards. Based on these four parameters, only three samples (S, D, and H) met
the criteria for clean drinking water according to the Regulation of the Minister of
Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2023. These findings indicate
that the study area has promising groundwater potential in terms of availability,
although water quality varies among locations, necessitating sustainable
management strategies tailored to local conditions.
