Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti
This study aims to determine the factors that influence the human development index in the Meranti Islands Regency. The data used in this study are time series data during the period 2010-2024. This study uses multiple linear regression methods to determine how much influence the independent variable has on the dependent variable. This research was analyzed using the Eviews-12 application.
This study provides the results that simultaneously (F test) the variables of economic growth, poverty rate and open unemployment rate have a significant effect on the human development index in Meranti. Furthermore, partially (t test) the economic growth variable has no significant effect on HDI, the poverty rate has a negative and significant effect on HDI, and the open unemployment rate has no significant effect on HDI in the Meranti Islands Regency. The Adjusted R-Squared value in this study is 0.906764, which means that 90.67% of HDI in Meranti Islands Regency is influenced by economic growth, poverty level and open unemployment rate. The remaining 9.33% is influenced by other variables outside this study.
