Hubungan Kadar Hemoglobin Terhadap Asupan Energi Dan Zat Besi Serta Prestasi Belajar Pada Siswa Kelas XII SMA Handayani Pekanbaru Tahun 2007
Iron defficiency anemia is the problem of health which found in many country
around the world, both in progressive countries and developing countries. There are
many factors influence study achievement, such as hemoglobin value, energy input,
and iron consumption. The objective of this study was to evaluate the correlation
among hemoglobin value and study achievement, energy input, and iron
consumption. The research used analytic method of cross sectional study. Student in
class XII SMA Handayani Pekanbaru were the poulation, and the sample was 70
students who did blood testing examination; 36 students were anemia while the other
one were not. This study used questionnaire, school report card, and Sysmex KX-21
as instruments. The correlation of hemoglobin value and study achievement, energy
input, and iron consumption was evaluated by Pearson and Spearman correlation
test by using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). From data analysis was
found that there were correlation among hemoglobin value and study achivement
(p value = 0,000), energy input (p value = 0,000), and iron consumption (p value =
0,000). The less of energy input (RP = 2,97) and the less of iron consumption (RP =
3,24) more reguler happened at anemia people than the normal one, and anemia
more reguler happened at the less study achievement people (RP = 1,77).
